wipers stuck on

the switch on my column will not shut the wipers off. it moves back and forth (rotates when twisted) but they are stuck on. how do i repair or replace it? i pulled the fuse for now, but winter's here and i'll need them.  thanks

You may need to replace the wiper motor. Put your fuse back in, tap on the wiper motor with a block of wood, and turn the key on. If the wipers don't turn on, then replace the motor.
