84 window falls forward

The window won't stay level to roll up/down. Can see a drill hole in top corner of glass. Is a piece missing?

dont know about US cars but in UK some Peugeots had same thing with a hole in the glass. it was 4 a plastic insert clip that clipped in the hole and into the window slide / seal to keep it in line going up and down.

i had a 1980 impalla whit the same problem,you're missing somw window guides,it,s a clip that goes in the door window channel and in clips in the drill hole you mentionned ,simple fix,good luck
