Could you get the Super Sport package on a 1962 4 door hard top sport sedan
Looking at a 1962 Chevrolet Impala 4 door hard top sport sedan. It has the Red SS emblems on the rear panels of car. Does this stand for Super Sport or Sport Sedan? Could you get the Super Sport package on the 1962 4 door hard top sedan?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Impala -- not to dispute Tom because he is great on here but I am finding info on a sport sedan listed in 1962. Also finding replacement parts for same 1962 4 door sport sedan.

iPad issues again. Delete the space in the address between the (- size). Should look like this (-size) and address will work.
SS script was used for the Super Sport model. Maybe they were trying to dress the 4 door up by adding it. There were no 4 door Super Sports built at the factory.
As a Simpsons fan myself, looks as if a good ole "Ha Ha! -->" is in order for Tom. The SS badging on 62 DID indeed stand for "Sport Sedan". 2 door and 4 door models were produced in 62 as well.
