There were roughly 14,415 Impala convertibles produced in 1969. Not exactly rare, given that, for example, only 7,000 1972 Cadillac Eldorado convertibles were produced. If you can find one for that price in any kind of decent shape, snatch it up; I doubt you will see anything but a major project car in that price range, though.

14000 is a pretty rare number concidering how many are still in existance. compared to the 3/4 of a million impalas that were produced that year. Yeah i would say its a rare car.

Yes roughly about 14,000 Impala convertible built in '69... But as of 2016... How many left after rusted out, wrecked, totalled, etc... Who knows?
