I have 1973 impala i just bought a original horn and
when putting it on it constantly blows. There was a
after market horn on before I switched and it did
not have this problem any ideas?

take the used horn and connect it to the car battery with a couple of wires to find out if the problem is in the horn or the car wiring. If the horn only has one connector then ground the horn to the negative battery post ( touching it to the post)and bring a wire from the positive battery post to the terminal to see if you can get it to honk. Pull the wire back off to see if it stops. If it does then the horn is good, and your problem is else where. if the horn is bad and honks all the time try to take it apart to see if you can find where it is making the connection across the two terminals, either inside our outside, and insulate the wire that is touching the other with black tape and try it again.
