The 700 is a longer trans you will have to cut the drive shaft or find a shorter one the 350 engine will fit you will need a complete engine with the same components on it such as power steering pump ,and exhaust headers .

O ok cool thanks how much you think it will cost to cut the drive shaft down. I was told that 700r4 should be good if itz put in right. Only reason iam going 700r is cause i plan to. Do a lil high way driveing

I have a friend who cut mine for $50. he has a shop near me, you know the 200r4 in your car if it shifts good and don't leak is a good cruising trans. they are dependable and also have overdrive and lock-up converters they are not as heavy duty as a 700r4 but will bolt up to a 350 engine no problem, you shouldn't give up on the 200 yet it can be built to handle 400 hp so maybe some food for thought.
