I found the original on the tank but is was so tore up could not read it ..

Bummer. There are some Corvette clubs/associations that might be able to decode your VIN. Give them a try.

The Corvette museum will send you the build sheet and the original window sticker with the vin off your car.

send your VIN and your name to socialmedia@gm.com requesting your build sheet. They will send it for free in a .pdf format. I did mine to be sure it worked.
