how many 1981 chevy malibus were made manual shift
I have a 1981 that was original 6 banger 3-speed, I modified into a 350 with four on the floor, just wondering did they make any sticks with a v-8 in that year?
yes but no 350cid. super rare to find a manual at all really. tripple tree, four on the floor, but I have never seen a five... although there is hearsay that a few yenko's escaped the malibu plant with the overdrive.

i have one of those , they didnt make too many too long and they made some monte carlos abut that year the same way

they had 81 malibu with 350 4 spd , they had 4 different V8s that year 4.4 , 5.0 & 5.7

I had a 1981 Malibu 3 speed on the floor. GM Canada produced 25,500 Malibu sedans special order of the Iraqi government in 1981, but the order was canceled. 12500 Malibu these were sold at auction at very low prices (6800.00$). 13,000 were made in Iraq.
hate to break news to everyone they did produce 350 malibus from 78 to 81 in 4 door and 2 door...... only for police cars it was the 9-c1 ........hemmings motor news i own a 2 door with spot light and all...it was not available to the general public
