Probably no more than 15,000 to 20,000 dollars, theyre just not that popular of a model of corvette.
ha yeah I'd be suprised if you got that much. You see, in '79 they made 53+ K of them and now those are worth 10K at most. After that, people lost interest in the C3/Stingray generation. Aerovette nearly blew it, '84s were overproduced too. If you're looking to sell an '81, sorry that's all I can tell you, but if you're buying, buy a '79 cheap and fix it up.
dude a 1981 is if its in good conds with that meny miles is about 10k thats all the 80s were bad years
It should cost about 56-about 60 thousand $
6500 is all it is worth like stated above they were not popular cars, plus the dealership in the 80,s had a hard time selling them.
proablly around like 25 thou actually, depending on how it was treated, when it was driven and such.
I would check auction sales of the 81's. Try Keith Martins Market Review. Low mileage cars are desirable, but it is truly low miles. So many are rebuilt, do your homework before spending. Good Luck
i would say about 18 or 19 grand
these cars are worth up too 26,000 these days if it is in great condition i have one that i truely love and have about 53k into my example is perfect but still top doallar is about 26k and thats new everything down to the drivelines...
all i can say is that these are great cars to drive.and i get a lot of thumbs up.seems the young people of today like this style better than my big block convertible 69..who knows maybe this generation will bring the value up..

I believe you are correct boomer. Though my comment comes 2 years after yours. I get a lot of thumbs up and swarmed by admires of my car when I stop at gas stations or am out shopping! I will say I purchased mine for 8500.00 and have probably but at least 25000.00 into it! no lie! but everything works, new engine, and original paint!
I have an 81 with 65000 on it, among the last to come out os st Louis valued at 150000 all original 2 owner.
