Asked by Lewis Feb 12, 2020 at 02:26 AM about the 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will a 5.3 out of a 07 suburban fit into my 78

whats in there already?

I believe it would fit and be a fairly easy swap, there are plenty of other people swapping out 305s/350s for 5.3 LS motors. Whether it's worth it, that's up to you.
