Why cant i get my blower motor to work on my 79 monte carlo

Asked by pmonte Nov 28, 2015 at 09:15 AM about the 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently got A 79 monte carlo. It has been a one owner car. I have checked the fuse, replaced the relay, and control switch. When I jump the blower motor off of the battery it works fine. The only thing I haven't replaced is the resistor. I'm thinking I must have a broke or shorted wire some where in the wiring. Where would I start to try and read out the wiring???

You best bet is to run a new power and ground wire back to the blower..
