The price varies, depending on condition, miles on the motor, and any mods or accessories added to the car, etc. I have seen prices as low as $1,200 and as high was $13,500. If you could give me more details about the car, I can give you a more precise amount for your car. Condition of car, miles, auto or stick, extras/options in car, sunroof, leather, etc. So you might have a valuable car on your hands there. Good luck.

the 1980 monte carlo is a one owner, 24,000 miles, very great condition, never been rode in the back, trunk has never been used, drove by an 90 year old woman, still got the papers when it was drove off the show room floor, i will send some pic with this
The asking price for that particular car would be around $7,000 or less. The like new condition and very low miles help, but being that it is completely stock and there were no mods done on the car, the value could have been higher if custom work and upgrading was done to it.
I have a 1984 Monti Carlo with no body damage but is showing her age.....everything is original on her except for the engine it was replaced back in 1999 because the head gaskets blew......she is a 305 V8.....the transmission needs to be replaced and so does the exhaust system....my brother put headers on it.....the last time she was inspected was in 2010
Mark We are in the process off selling our 1980 Monte Carlo with 24,000 miles (excellent condition) and would like to know the source of your resale range of $13.5K to $1.2K. Is there a website you can reference?
Look on Hagerty or Hemmings for comparable cars. This is a 9 year old thread.
