Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 74 roadster that I am restoring with Z-07 package. This is a little drifrent then J-56 brakes that I have worked with before. Need to talk with some one that has restored or raced a car with this. Package was only offered in 73 74 75. Also looking for a upper vent duct for my rear window defogger for my roadster. Mine is broken and in need of replacement. Thanks, John

I would try Howards Corvettes. Its a corvette salvage yard. I really dont think this is something you can buy new. My 74 also has the rear defogger. You have a very rare car there only 47 built with the off road suspension and brake package. Post up some pictures :)
http://www.corvetteamerica.com/ you might want to give them a try, I ordered a few thing from them when I had my vettes, You might want to try "Year One" also. Best of luck, hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply. Your right no one has reproduced the duct yet but I seen some one has done the fan motor mounting bracket for roadsters (about $100.00). I think the duct might be easy to make. I know I and others would give about $100.00 for them also. Seams like every one I talked with wants to replace there duct because of cracks, how is yours? Yes Z-07 was rare, But I was told only 3 in 74 had C60 with them (mid year GM pulled order restriction with Z-07)I got one of the 3. I will post up picture when weather gets better to shoot them. Thanks John
Well mines is cracked also :) But it is original. Too bad Chevy has poor fitment for interior components back then.
