Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi. I have an all original 1972 Chevrolet Custom / 10 3-door (carryall / suburban) with 102,000 original miles. It is a 350 v8, rear-wheel drive (not 4wd) and in Very Good Original condition. The interior is all original and in good condition - no cracks in the dash, only one minor tear on the driver's seat. The third seat was removed and stored when it was new and is perfect except for a small cut in the vinyl that happened when moving it. It has Craiger Mags on it now, but I have the original wheels; and it has a working 8-track player with am/fm stereo, but the original factory radio is also in storage. The vehicle has been owned by my family since it was purchased in 1972 and has been garaged almost continuously when not in use. I am considering selling, but would like to get an idea of the market value first. The Blue Book / NADA values seem to indicate $8k to $14K, but cannot accurately estimate the value since there are no comparables.
Any ideas on how to estimate the value would be appreciated.
Thank you!

$14-15,000 would be a good price for one in excellent condition. My Dad had purchased one new in '72. Same color combo as yours. His was a 4-WD 3-door C-20.

$14-15,000 would be a good price for one in excellent condition according to Hagerty. My Dad had purchased one new in '72. Same color combo as yours. His was a 4-WD 3-door C-20. Options and equipment should make prices vary like any other car. In this case, factory equipped mechanical upgrades can raise the price. I've seen one with a/c once and it was a C-30 and was also a 3-door...sweet.
