Hi prrrus, You might be able to find some information online by searching on "production numbers" for your vehicle, but this type of information is very sparce. You may also contact Chevrolet corporate to have your question answered. Good luck!

Prrrus, A 1988 S-10 with 15"," S-10 style rally rims, not Corvett style" may have been an interesting little truck..What other options did it have and was there any "scribble" behind the brake booster cannister? ..some of the other feedbacks may not have considered the "different style" of rally rims..contact me at Bobzilla54@Gmail.com..for more details..tnx..better late than never..
I also think it is an interesting truck. The story from the dealer is that a guy ordered the truck with rally wheels, bucket seats, interior light package and rack & pinion power steering and sliding rear window. The guy then got injured on his job, and couldn't get the truck when it came in. I bought it new in July of 1988. I don't know about anything behind the brake booster. The truck is now in storage for the winter, but I will check it out in the spring when I get it out. My e-mail is prrrusus@yahoo.com.
