Your best bet is to install the driveshaft so you can get it running if you want to sell it for decent money. Anyone can replace brakes. Hard to say what it's worth without mileage and photo's.

the truck is for sale it is not mine so i am not sure what to estimate , it is listed at 4500.00 , so i cnt test it or drive it
$4,500 for a truck you can't drive and needs brakes? For all you know it also needs a transmission and other things. The owner is delusional. I might offer $1,000 if I really liked the truck.

i agree with you but they dont understand that , it seems to be the norm for people selling vehicles thks for the reply it has potential but not at a that price they are asking ,
What is your intentions if you purchase a 43 year old truck? Going to put in a garage, take it apart, then rebuild it? Not for 4500 bucks! Use it as a daily driver? Not for 4500 bucks on a vehicle that doesn't run and cannot be test driven! Especially knowing you have to put in a drive shaft and replace all the components of the brake system. Does the vehicle even start?

the purpose is to become a daily driver doesn't need to be perfect but something i can do work with run errands
I think you have answered your own question 72machine. Not trying to be offensive, looking at it from an outsider, it's not a daily driver now. And won't be until you get a driveshaft, install it, then spend a few hundred bucks on parts for the brakes, if you can do the brakes yourself. Now you're up to something close to 5,000 bucks. And you still don't know what shape the engine and transmission is in. My suggestion, keep looking.
