Having difficulty locating info on how to remove a heater core. Vehicle is a 1977 F-150, 6 Cyl, 2 WD, Reg.Cab, No Air Cond, Automatic. Thanks.

Hi Garazoo. That's a complex procedure that only a contortionist would love. I would start here at: http://www.fordf150.net/store/repairmanuals.php ... You can try the forum to see if someone can point you towards and online source that will give you the procedure. Or you can order the repair manual for your truck from the site. You probably should have one anyway if you are going to be care taking for your truck. Hope it helps ... good luck!

on the passenger side of the truck under the dash is a black box to remove that there is four or fix bolts and two hoses to remove on the passenger side under the hood. then there is two cables and a wire cluster to disconnect under the dash.it should come out after that. if there is foam in the box cut it out then replace it when finished
