what is the overall length of a 1977 F-150,?
I have a '77 F-150 -- standard 2-door cab and 8-ft bed -- at my off-grid property (300 miles
away, so I can't just go measure it). I'm designing a garage/workshop, and I need the
dimensions of the truck, to ensure I have enough room to park it without squeezing it in. I
wasn't find this info after 20 minutes searching online.

measure twice and cut once. looks like a wench sticking out front; trailer hitch in the back too maybe? guess you should stick to the carpenter's rule of thumb
130" wheel base from what I have found but that don't help you to much.
If you clear 20 ft. you can close the shop door,s : )
read your in box now and again :)
My thanks to all you folks. I found the overall length of the 2014 F- 150, standard cab, 8-ft bed -- 231.9 in., or 19 ft 4 in. I know it's wider and longer than my old '77, so I figure that, even with the winch bumper adding about 7 inches to the front, my overall length shouldn't be more than about 19 feet (...and I never leave the trailer hitch in the receiver), T_S_T is right, 20 ft will do it. Of course, before I actually put the posts in the ground, I will measure twice, as chassy suggests. Thanks again, OffGrid9
good,glad you have you answer
Bigger is always better, I have built my three shops, and I can tell you you want at least 24X12 per vehicle. Even for just storage. Good luck.
