how much horsepower does a stock 1979 f150 460 have?

Interesting question Huck ... the 460 left the options list in 1980 and returned in 1983 at 245 hp, but I couldn't find the HP rating for the 1979 version. I did find this however. I have gotton a 1979 ford econoline engine, that happens to be a 460. i do not quite understand what you mean, could you give me a little more information? thanks -TR

the 1978-79 versions had 202HP, hope this helped.
