Pulled my distributor cap off.& the end of my roter button was bent up and 2 of my points on cap were messed up what would caus that

Can't say but you need a new rotor and cap. I would guess that the problem was due to wear.

Get a new rotor and cap. Make sure the rotor is firmly locked into place before installing the cap. When replacing the cap, make sure the cap is level and evenly positioned on the distributor before depressing the screw locks on each side. There isn't a lot of clearance there when the rotor spins. If it is off a little it will strike the side of one of the contact points inside the cap.
