Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1987 ford f 150 HO will not idle for very long and will shut down . Also if you
give it the
gas like when you pull up to a stop sign and then give it the gas to pull out it
will stall .
it starts right back up but will idle awhile and then shut down or if you give it
the gas it
will die again. anyone have any ideas what might be the problem  ?

You also might want to check your fuel filter and net year should have about 4 pounds of pressure for fuel line you could be running out of gas
