How do I find out the proper way to replace my trucks Heater Core? 89 F150 Fuel Injected 2 wheel drive single exhaust. Respond to Corrie. email heavenz_soldier_enterprize@live.ca I bought the part new for $47.00 & do not know how to replace it.

Allow engine to cool and release pressure from system, then disconnect heater hoses from heater core tubes, and plug hoses. Working in passenger compartment, remove glove compartment assembly. Remove seven screws attaching the heater core access cover to plenum chamber. Disconnect vacuum lines, then remove the cover with the vacuum harness attached. Remove heater core from vehicle, Fig. 20. Reverse procedure to install.
