dont be a leadfoot, install an vacuum gauge and teach yourself better driving habits

it already has a full ingtion tune up done. oil is to be changed again in the next 1000 miles. i dont drive over 60 and down shift at every big hill. oh and yes i do mean a manual trans 5 speed. im was woundering if there was any bolt on stuff that would work. i have a lmc truck mag for my truck and they show a header system that is proclamed to increase horsepower by 20% and mpg by 10%. but im not for sure if it will truly increase my mpg. so i dont want to buy any thing unless i have hard fact proof.

keep your tires properly inflated ALWAYS, you can get the head port matched and polished, that helps

the six is a very good motor but theres not much you can do about the gas milage.

If you do the headers you will want to put an aftermarket air filter. Also use synthetic oils in your engine and axles.
