I haven't had the opportunity to work on many of these but I have seen Timing chains, fuel system contamination, and rear brake cylinder problems from age. Of course, anything with a lot of miles and time should have the steering and chassis looked over. As far as parts availability, I'd look over the websites of your favorite parts stores and see what's out there. Usually, you can get old truck parts with no problems but I can't guarantee that. Enjoy your truck!

Take heed to Tracy's warnings, especially on fuel system contamination. Look up parts for sale in "Hemming's Motor News, Summit Racing, JEGS, JC Whitney or Rock Auto" online, but your local auto parts store might have things. Finding any parts for the truck will be easy, but finding parts for the engine might be an issue. The transmission will either be a C6 or FMX, I highly doubt it would be a C4.
