75 f250 with a 390

My 75 Ford f250 wth a 390 I got it to start once
and run but it wouldn't stay running the next day I
replace the solenoid the battery the fuel pump and
I couldn't even get it to start it only turned over one
time had it directly connected to Jumpers off of
another truck I have no idea what the problem is

Did you ever find out what problem was? I have a 72 learned one thing they hate the fancy stuff, I put high performance plugs she ate them in 4 days reg just fine, mechanic put in some of those fancy electronic ignition points, ate them in a month, put in regular points and running great...
