Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok it started when I had engine rebuilt. Truck runs strong
N sounds great. Every now n then it will just start
backfiring. I can get it to come out of it every now n then .
Other times it needs to sit for some time then runs strong
again. Maybe old gas but should of ran all that out.
Changed out a lot as well as other local mechanics but
some of these locals are idiots. Wires plugs rotor timed
starter new engine computer amongst exhaust system is
awesome now but still acts up once in awhile!

Well the clue your giving me would be once the engine warms up it want to cut out on you and you have to let it sit. When this does this check to see if there is spark, to know if this is a spark issue. I was thinking the ignition control module, the box on the fender. I'm not sure if anybody can test that old of ICM. See if there is spark when this happens again.
