is the crank locked up? did you pull the plugs ...squirt a little penetrating oil in and try to crank? I'd be sure that the engine was not seized~

The engine is not siezed. It appears that there is no power when you turn the key. No click no nothing. The interior light goes on but no headlights

OK...the battery was not put in properly...the black cable has two connectors..one that goes to the engine block. and the other goes to the chassis~...make sure the ends of the cables are free of corrosion ...these should both be solid and able to carry the needed 50 amps~ the RED cable needs to have the loop what connects to the solenoid able to carry that load too~
