well the last i knew, a 9 inch was only for a half ton, and most 3/4 and 1 ton trucks came with either a dana 60 or 80 rear end
you F-350 would not have a ford 9 inch. the other guy was right that the 9 inch rearends only went in the half tons. plus the 9 inch is a third member rearend. But my F-350 has a ford axle in the rear and a Dana 60 in front. I heard from a guy that if its a dually, it usually had a Dana 80 front and rear. but since mine is a regular axle, i have some ford rear end. i would look up the codes online and look at the axle code on the door sticker
I've never heard of a 9 inch rear end on a F-350 The Nine inch rear-ends were used for racing and usually F-350s do not have that kind of rear end. I suppose someone could have changed it, but look on google for Ford 9-inch rear ends and find a picture. Also the rear end should have a little tin tag on it with the information you can look it up.
It wouldn't have the 9" rearend. As others have been sayin', its going to have a Dana 60 or dana 80. Ford 9" rears were commonly used in Mustangs, torino's, and in the f150 or f250.
I have an 88 dually with a 10,50" sterling rear end. 2wd 410 gear ratio
Will a 96 7.3 ford f350 dually rear end be compatible with a 99 7.3 Ford f350 dually
