any bigger than 235 75 15 and your going to run into rubbing
if you have the tools and time i would suggest buying a block body lift to raise your body up then without modiiffing you suspension you can 33"+ tires on without the problem of rubbing. Body lifts are fairly inexpensive.
I had 31x 10.5's on my bronco II with a 2" lift. When it was stock I had 235/75/15's, that's the biggest you can fit on the wheels, the width of the rim is more of the limiting factor in this one.

With a 2 inch body-lift(cheap,and easy to install) you can safely run 31/10.50"s..
What is the largest tires I can put on my 1994 ford ranger Xl? Or If i put a 4inch lift then what size?
