Whats rear lock mean??

I cant shift to reverse why??

Hi bferringer. A quick call to your local Ford service bay should get you an answer about the rear lock. It probably has something to do with your differential (for more info: http://www.car-videos.com/whatis/differential.asp). Otherwise, here's a troubleshooting guide to tranny issues that should help you narrow down the possibilities.
