Stationwagon for sale

Asked by gamabry May 18, 2012 at 01:53 PM about the 1989 Ford Country Squire

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1989 Crown Victoria Stationwagon that I want to sell.  It has 73,000 miles on it.  The vehicle has been garaged since I bought it new,  Outside of the vehicle is excellent.  The inside has some wear on the carpet.  I still am in possession off the original am/fm radio but I have a cd player installed.  All other equipment is in working order.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to sell this car and it's approximate value?  I want to sell it to someone who is interested in keeping it as a classic.   I'm not going to sell it to anyone who is just looking for some transportation.

Tom, thanks for taking the time to reply. I had not idea of what to ask for the vehicle. I'll do a little more checking around and then I'll try putting something out on our local autotrader like you suggested. It's still a great running vehicle, so if I don't find the right buyer, I'll just keep it. I'm in no rush. George

George. If it's in as good of shape as you say it is, It's probably worth anywhere from $2900.00 to $4500.00 I belong to a few different station wagon groups and if it were advertised there, you'de be sure that a station wagon person would be buying it. Try these different groups, you'll have to join to advertise but it's FREE to join. I run the first one listed. Good luck, Kenny. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fordcountrysquirefanclub/ http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/stationwagon/ http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/FordCrownVic/ http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/BlueOvalFans/
