I have a 55 T-Bird (production # 52), but it does not have the original drivetrain and needs some restoration. Any idea of the value ?

Hello, Wow! Great car! It's hard to tell what the value is without knowing the definition of "some restoration." Here are numbers from the Manheim Gold Book: Fair condition: 6,000 Good condition: 30,000 Excellent condition: 57,000 Show condition: 66,900 I'm guessing without the original drivetrain and with the restoration needed, probably in 6000-30,000 range. some may not care about the drive train , may change original out for 302 h/o latw model ford engines,/trans. i'm however partial to original cars and have had several through the years.I also have one now that valued at over 80k appraised so don't listen to everyone who can just read off statistics . But not in the community. I am part of said community.
