I've got to the gauges uncovered but I still need an answer, where do the two wires go to on the CVR I assume one goes to the fuel gauges to deliver about 5 volts but where does the other wire go and how do I test it thanks for the help so far

thanks, GA you mentioned a fuze to the CVR or one before the CVR where is this? all the fuses on the main fuel block are ok except one One strange thing ( may or may not be connected to the problem ) at the main fuse block by the passenger door one fuse which in the manual states "CLOCK" has 12 volts running through it and as such blows fuses quickly Thanks for the info, if in the meantime, if I run a 12-volt live wire to the INPUT terminal of the CVR is there a way of checking for that pulsing you mentioned while 've got the CVR on view, It just occurred to me that that 12 volts showing on the main fuse block could be part of the problem, I've got the actual clock out to see tge CVR and the clock main wire is now not connected however the two lights work so the earth sounds ok. any suggestions
