Can anyone help me with an ignition issue im having on my 1963 T-Bird. It will try to start in the acc position, im sure its simple but need some help

Sounds like the ignition switch is old and worn. replace it if it is. Avoid fire.

Check the starter relay,or solenoid mounted on the right front inner fender,sometimes they would short and cause all kinds of different problems.Make sure it is a Ford or known quality part.Brian Jourdan,Detroit,Mi.
