I can't say that I have ever tried it or seen it done but to the best of my experience, those 14" rims cannot go over a disc caliper. If for some reason you find a way to do, how about letting the rest of us know how and what you had to do to make it work.

Your not going to get disc brakes with those rims, if you want disc brakes you may have to go with a Dayton wire wheel.

No, you can use 15" rims like on the 65-66 Bird. I wouldn't ruin the looks with 17" and up unless you want a street rod and not a classic.

It's a big car, a set of 17" wheels would look good but not ridiculous. The outer hoop on the 65-66 15" wire wheels may still have clearance issues for the caliper. I have 17" wheels on my "68" Camaro and it looks great and that's a much smaller car, anything above 17" would be a bit much.

Alright, are we finished with the *issing contest on Chevys? Back to the T-Bird problem. No 14" rims and Disc brakes
