I have 1964 Thunderbird, sometimes after driving when I turn right to go into my driveway to park, the engine will just shut off. Is this a problem with steering column?

Speedo issue is probly just a broken speedo cable and the parking brake could be a broken return spring or the system might just need cleaning/lubrication and also an adjustment.

You have a tilt wheel don't you? If so, when you turn right it is slipping and shutting off the ignition which is a safety feature.
