how many convertibles built?

How many 1966 Ford Thundrebird convertibles were manufactured in 1966?  How many might still exist today?

hi Eleanor, There were 5,049 Thunderbird Convertibles made in 1966. Your guess would be as good as our regarding how many still exist. I am guessing there aren't too too many still around. The average selling price today for a 66 tbird is around $27,000 which makes me think they are somewhat rare.

I was told there were 5,049 thunderbird convertibles in 1966 out of that 700 had the 428hp out of 700 there were 74 made with factory air, what I don't know out of the 74 how many had highway control.
