I have a 66 Tbird with a bad set of lifters so I just replace them. I started it up and it ran great. After I replaced the vacuum lines, covers, etc., it started back missing on three cylinders.

Did you do this work yourself? amazing- that is a classic sorta, and if you "rebuilt" the engine, it could be anything- how can I know? just start diagnosing why those 3 cylinders are not firing- is it the ignition system? is it the vacuum lines and it just sounds like it's missing? good luck-

Thanks tennissshoes. My dad said that but I was hoping I didn't have to pull the engine out again. Thanks jamnblues. My dad and I are doing the work.

I would check ignition wireing to spark plugs,if its old it may not give spark to plugs when hot.
