1966 ford tbird drivers seat does not go back far enough and is too high

I'm 6'2" and I had a mechanic relocate my seat rails back about 2". As far as lowering the seat, I don't think there is anything you can do about it. If anything, go to an upholstery shop and see if they can rebuild it to make it lower. Downside of moving rails back is that no one can sit behind the drivers seat.

Thanks for the best answer mark. Hope you find someone that can get your seat fixed to suit you. It's no fun to have a great car and not be able to totally enjoy driving it.
