Its a beautiful thing if you feed it right. These tail lights panned outward when turned on, didn't they? Nice automobiles back then. Kudos to Ford for the design.

That's about right as I remember. We bought what was the most beautiful car we had ever imagined. I turned out to be one of the worse manufactured cars we ever owned. It spent more time at the Ford dealership than in our garage. The capstone was when I came home one evening and my wife was almost in tears. When I asked what was wrong, she replied the door fell of the ##**# car. Turned out she was right the factory had installed the pin on the upper hinge upside down. When if fell out the door fell to the ground next time opened.
