Hello lostranger-- My favorite pricing guide for older cars is www.nadaguides.com. They say a 1974 Thunderbird is worth between $3,125 and $10,950. Of course that can be modified either way once you look at it. Check what similar cars are offered for at www.autotrader.com, www.cars.com and www.Craigslist.com. and then decide for yourself if it is good value. Good luck from Bovan.

Are you sure it's a 1974???? Is this a customized car? Ford stopped production of the Thunderbird convertible after the 1966 model year. If this is a 1974 I would love to see a picture of it/
ford didn't make 74 t-bird convertibles
karl is right.... they never made it... its a coustom shop job.
And no, it is not worth $20k, even in pristine condition. That model year is not considered "collectible", convertible or not...
it depends you gota look at the bottom top no rust or any electrical problems and make sure when they made it a convertible they didnt damage the integrity of the car between 8,000 and 10,000
