Hello jwc191-- Both the "Big Bird" Ford Thunderbird and the Lincoln Mark IV were introduced for the 1972 model year and lasted through 1976. They were built on the same platform and shared some design features. Now as for the chicken and the egg. . . Good luck from Bovan.
