Sound like a lot of air in the engine wen I press on the gas, shud I change the hoses?

Do you hear an air sound with the engine idling and the car parked? If so, it is most likely a vacuum hose either off the fitting or cracked. The only thing I can think of if it not that, is you have an amazing air cleaner intake and it is sucking in the air.
