86 thunderbird turbo coupe

I'm parting out a 1987 Turbo coupe - not sure if '86 and '87 parts are interchangeable. I have everything except the engine and electronics. Los Angeles area.

Hello Mike This car only has 5300 miles on it, I guarantee you would not want to use it for parts. It has never even been driven in rain and the bottom and suspension looks like it just rolled off the line except for some spiders that like to make it their home. Let me know if you know anybody that would like an 86TC that is pretty much like new. George

I have one of the first 86 Thunderbird turbos off the line. With re-tooling at the Wayne (Michigan) assembly plant, mine was built with a mongrel mix of 85 and 86 technology. Unfortunately some 85 parts are different from 86 and I don't know what won't fit until my mechanic tries to work with them. However, I have had really good luck at O'Reilly in South Central Texas. With only 24 hours notice they have gotten me everything I need (only 86 if 85 and 86 are the same and both years if they are different). This ranges from belts and hoses to timing belts and ignition modules. "Bunny" (the Tbird) lives on and adds to her 70,000 miles with weekly exercise. Marilynn
