i took out original radio very carful not to damige it.put in another radio with the ford hook up mine is a 89 sc.

radio is a premium soundsystem with cassette player.put in new radio with cd player.2 days after battery dead jumped offand cranked let charge.turned off ign.un hooked neg cable tuched to bat.was hot.took sterio out .by the way used the ford wire plugins.put orig. back in,2plugsspeakers and powerand ant.of corse.did not have to splice any wires.now my orig.want work.clock and radio want work dont know about cassett,dont have any.what do you think is problem.thank you.  also did you get the picts sent to you of my sc.my wife sent them probly under her e-mail not sure what it is.anyway this is papawaynesc@ yahoo .com. known to youall as papa. sorry for any inconvince this may have caused if any.any info on radio will be of utmost useful,thank you.your advice on the trans,fluid was great.4.qrts.

If your original radio is not working after removal I would contact Ford. You may have to enter a security code in order to "unlock" the unit.
