1987 Honda Accord pop up lights

Asked by GuruC94CZ Jan 31, 2019 at 08:42 PM about the 1987 Honda Accord

Question type: General

Why won’t my Honda accord hidden lights
come up? How do they work?  Only the
driver side headlight will come up.

1 Answer

Under the hood just behind the headlight there should be a rubber cap a little smaller than a 35mm film canister. Remove the cap and twist the knob underneath in the direction indicated by the white arrow. Be careful about the headlight action, because if the circuit is working the headlight motor will cycle all the way through once, keep fingers clear of the action! If the circuit is dead, you my need to crank them both up into position and leave them.
