1986 HONDA CIVIC DX 93k miles, excellent condition What is good asking price?

Hard to find a lot of pricing detail for a car that's about 29 years old (Hondas are good cars, but are you REALLY sure you want to buy a car that old for your daughter??). I was able to find something though. Based on what I did find, I would say spend no more than $1,500 on it. http://www.carsforsale.com/used-cars/1986-honda-civic

Racer_X is correct about the price. And I agree with him about the safety factor. The newer cars are far safer and the plastic on the old car is becoming brittle. Why don't you drive the Honda and give your daughter your car? That way she has the safety features and better performance/gas mileage and you can have fun with the old car.
