On my 2006 BMW I was told that the battery in my keyless remote that this battery cannot be replaced. Another person said that the battery charges as the car is driven. Does anyone know about this?

I have not driven my 2006 bmw x5 in months. The drivers door will not unlock.remote also dead. Is there another key hole somewhere? 2 Answers

The drivers door handle was messed with some trying to break into the car-messing up the handle. Is there a second keyhole somewhere?. I cannot find one.
