There aren't any 2004 M5's period! I think you are looking for the E60 M5 variant which was introduced in 2005 and stopped production in 2010. Check here: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/cars-sale-wanted/

The E39 M5 ceased production as a MY 2003 car. The E60 M5 ran from 2006-2010. I'd stay away from the first one or two years of any new model while BMW works the kinks out.
