door locks

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My passenger door does not lock or unlock when I use the key fob.  The locks are fine mechanically, they will lock and unlock manually.  It's odd that one door will respond to the fob while the other will not.  Anybody ever encounter this?

Sounds like a problem with the door lock actuator on that side. You say that they will lock and unlock manually, but not with they keyfob. See if the door on that side will lock/unlock from the power switch/master switch in the car. If not, it's definitely actuator.
